David Ben-Gurion, the founding leader of the State of Israel, held a leadership position for many years. The length of his leadership tenure makes it possible to examine him in the context of numerous leadership issues. This lecture will focus on one characteristic of his leadership: defining a distant goal and moving toward it step by step, through concrete, practical actions.

11:15–12:00 — Menachem Begin: Leadership That Shapes Society
The lecture will address Menachem Begin, the sixth prime minister of the State of Israel, who reshaped Israeli society. We will focus on the changes he brought about in the areas of the economy, society, religion and state, and identity—changes that continue to affect our lives to this day.
