Stand-up show by Ella Kanevsky on October 18, 2026, at 20:00 at Nocturno Live. The show deals with singlehood, femininity, therapy, and life in a Russian family.
For 8 years on open stages, through Tel Aviv bachelorhood, psychological therapy, and an entire life as the daughter of a Russian family, Ella Kanavsky (the hilarious woman from the videos—and the one writing this text right now) has collected material that has come together into a stand-up show lasting a little over an hour!
The show offers a glimpse into Ella’s life, combining highbrow and lowbrow humor, complex and simple stories and characters, all with the lightness and naturalness characteristic of her. And is she related to Rabbi Kanievsky? You’ll discover all this at the show.
The show deals with late-blooming singlehood, femininity, aging, apps, therapy, divorced parents, polyamory, growing up in a Russian home with a grandmother who is Stalin, and more.
