Kinaro Ensemble:
Spanish music from the Renaissance and Baroque eras, inspired by the story of Don Quixote, accompanied by readings of selected excerpts from Miguel de Cervantes’s novel.
The Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra’s 2026 Magic Festival returns for the fifth time. This year, it takes place under the title “Echo” and invites audiences on a journey following the women, works, and voices that were recognized, respected, and given their rightful place in their own time, while their influence did not disappear, continuing to resound as an echo in subsequent generations.
Over two days, audiences will meet women creators and performers, queens and patrons, muses and heroines, whose actions and very presence influenced the music and culture of their time. From ancient myths to 20th-century jazz, from the salons of Vienna and Berlin to the contemporary stage, the festival invites audiences to listen closely to voices that have reached us through time and discover how they continue to live, change, and sound today.
