🎬 Three Shots at Democracy: Lecture and Screening of the Film Incitement
October 8 | 19:00

The “In Our Own Voice” project and the Moishe House community, in cooperation with the “Leviathan’s Bay” Telegram channel, invite you to a private event on a cozy rooftop in the very center of Jerusalem: Three Shots at Democracy: Lecture and Screening of the Film Incitement.

On November 4, 1995, following a rally in Tel Aviv, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated by Jewish extremist Yigal Amir. The assassination took place amid a severe political and social divide over the Oslo Accords and became one of the most painful events in the history of Israeli democracy.

Together with Levi Tabachnikov, we will watch Incitement, a film about the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Before the screening, there will be a lecture on the context of the Oslo Accords, Rabin, and Israel’s political climate, followed by a discussion of the film.

The lecture and discussion will be in Russian; the film will be in Hebrew with English subtitles.

📍 Admission is free; registration is required.
