A love stories tour on HaNevi’im Street in Jerusalem, among hidden courtyards and grand houses. We will hear about Jerusalem figures and love stories from about a century ago.
Want to experience Jerusalem’s world of love from about a century ago? Want to meet people who left everything behind for love? Want to enter hidden courtyards and concealed mansions on HaNevi’im Street that tell a Jerusalem-style love story? You are invited to join Dudi for a tour of HaNevi’im Street!
During the tour, we will hear the love stories of Dr. Ticho and his wife Anna; Itamar Ben-Avi and Leah Abushadid; Thomas Wilkin and Shoshana Borochov; Rabbi Kook and his wife Riza Rivka; and other Jerusalem love stories, which we will combine with the homes of romantics and dreamers who established hidden luxury compounds along the street.
We will tell the story of Conrad Schick and the Altar House, the story of the Russian Compound, and the romance—whether it existed or not—between Rasputin and the tsar’s wife, which reaches the Sergei Courtyard. Of course, we will also tell the story of the dream houses on Ethiopia Street and the story of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda.
You are invited to join us and get an unconventional glimpse into a hidden Jerusalem world.
