An improvised participatory performance-game about language and identity, on 27.09.2026 at the Art and Research Center – Fromoma. The participants create characters and a shared world.
An improvisational, participatory performance-game exploring how language shapes who we are and how we shape ourselves through it. The game tells the story of a small Jewish town where they created a golem.
At the sound of the war trumpet, the enemy threatens both people and golems.
In the game, participants will step into the shoes of golems whose world has been turned upside down. Their language will be limited to the golems’ restricted vocabulary, and they will have to find the words to shape themselves and who they want to be, as individuals and as a group.
This is an opportunity to connect with the childlike place of make-believe, surrender to a process of discovery and joint creation, and be someone else for a while.
