An event inspired by the book series “And This Child Is Me,” as a tribute to Yehuda Atlas. The show will feature music, video art, songs, stories, and familiar illustrations brought to life. Children and parents are invited to come in pajamas and participate in a dream-sewing workshop.
An event inspired by the book series And This Child Is Me, honoring Yehuda Atlas—the award-winning author, poet, and translator whose works have accompanied generations of parents and children. A celebration of music, video art, and new and surprising performances of his beloved works.
In this special show, we will sing, read, and play; watch the familiar and beloved illustrations come to life on screen; and encounter up close the songs and stories that touch on the world of girls and boys, everywhere and at all times: their burning questions, big and small dreams, disappointments, and hopes.
Children (and parents!) are invited to come in pajamas. The ticket includes participation in a special “Dream-Stitching Workshop.”
The event is intended for ages 6 and up and lasts approximately 50 minutes.
