An interactive family area and a wrap-up party will take place on September 17, 2026, at Bloomfield Garden in Jerusalem, as part of the Theater in Space Festival.
The “Theater in the Space” Festival presents: “The Jerusalem Museum of Nature Goes Outdoors” through the activity area “Garden Kingdom – Cartonia.”
While the museum building is currently undergoing renovation, we are coming to you at the festival with a large, interactive family area inviting parents and children to discover an imaginary world made of cardboard—gates, bridges, knights, curious animals, and a giant turtle carrying an entire city on its back.
This area, based entirely on the principles of recycling, invites visitors to participate in a collaborative creative process, draw water from the well, paint, make paper flowers for an installation, and enjoy free play in the festival atmosphere.
Today is the festival’s final day, and everyone is invited to the dismantling party of the Garden Kingdom–Cartonia!
The area was created by Maya Borovitz—a multidisciplinary artist, set designer, and creator of interactive experiences for children and families.
Music accompanying the entire area by DJ Ziv Brashi.
Location: Black Lion Plaza
