The In-Space Theater Festival invites you to a work that is a performative monodrama about rage traveling three generations back.

Between father and son, with the grandfather above them: three men from the same family—the Saada family—suffering from rage that is almost like an independent entity, with a body and a will. They pass it down as an inheritance from one to the other: family epigenetics. Where does it come from? What does it come to tell us? And who are we without it?

The performance revolves around the desire to free oneself from it. It contains the process of withdrawal from that destructive impulse, like casting out a demon. It includes confessions about violence and remorse, requests for forgiveness, questions about faith, the desire for destruction, and ultimately the long-awaited healing. The son’s rebellion against the transmission taking place from generation to generation, just before he becomes a father himself. So that he can break free, sever the chain, and start anew.

The play won the Audience Favorite Award at the 2025 Theatroneto Festival.
