A solo exhibition by Nitzan Ben Zimra will be on display at the Jerusalem Artists’ House from August 22, 2026, to November 7, 2026. The works address the remnants of everyday life.
A thick braided rope, broad at first and gradually narrowing; sewing pins threaded into the surface of a wall as though it were fabric, paper, or leather; peeling wallpaper revealing its reverse side, dusted with reddish sand; a desolate urban landscape photograph, grainy and blurred, printed in black and white on a thermal printer. Nitzan Ben Zimra’s works capture fragments, remnants, and scraps of everyday reality, in which traces of something that once existed and no longer does are set rolling.
