The installation was created specifically for the Hutzot Urban Gallery and explores the interaction between art, materials, and public space under wartime conditions. The presentation features the first solo work by artist Avigal Hamo, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy. The event will be free of charge.
The installation was created specifically for Hutzot Gallery, an urban gallery dedicated to sculpture and the intersection of art, material, and public space. It took shape during the war, in a reality where even everyday actions like getting close, leaning, waiting, or initiating a conversation are no longer taken for granted.
The exhibition opening will take place on July 28.
This marks the first solo exhibition of artist Avigail Chamou, a Bezalel graduate with honors, presented in collaboration with the Art Department at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem.
