The Ride of the Year in Jerusalem!

Once a year we hold a huge bike ride that will be unlike any other event in the city. It's time. Put it on your calendar and tell your friends, this is the kind of ride that everyone is invited to, young and old.

We'll meet at the Municipality (Kikar Safra) at 10:00 for a bike event, an introduction to all the interesting types of bikes, a slow bike ride, and a t-shirt sale (order in advance). At 11:00 we'll hit the road.

We'll finish at 12:00 at Independence Park, where we'll have a Passover bike cleanup, a bike shakedown, and of course pizza and beer. (If any organization wants to partner with us, let us know) If you want to show Jerusalem that people care about bikes and cyclists, come ride with us!

• If you want to order food after the ride, find and register with the caterer at the start.

** The ride is the responsibility of the rider, bring water.

A few more notes:

• Our goal is to have fun and be seen. Feel free to bring whistles, bells, lights, costumes and if you have amplifiers: music!

• Ride at a comfortable and steady pace. You do not need to be in great shape or bring a professional bike. This is a group ride on the road where we all protect each other.

• For those asking - everything is legal and no police approval is needed. We obey the rules of the road.

• The rides are part of a critical mass movement that takes place every month in hundreds of cities around the world. It is a leaderless movement and anyone who wants to get involved in organizing the rides is more than welcome!
