At the heart of the story is the tale of two people trying to preserve their feelings in a world where love is declared a system error, words lose their meaning every day, and the truth is rewritten live during television broadcasts. When ordinary language is powerless in the face of totalitarian digital surveillance, the protagonists begin to sing.

A phenomenal creative and performing team

The musical’s poetic foundation consists of the piercing texts of Vera Polozkova, a leading voice in contemporary Russian-language poetry. Her poems are always a manifesto of inner freedom and emotional resistance, striking precisely at their target.

All the music for the production was written by Alexander Krasovitsky, the longtime frontman of the acclaimed rock bands Animal ДжаZ and Zero People.

Vladimir Daraganov, known for notable roles in The New Miracle and The Optimists, as well as in the productions The Idiot and The Master and Margarita, as Parsons — a subtle and tragic story of a man on the brink of blind faith, fear, and inner brokenness.

A visual show of the future

The large-scale set design by Nina Kobiashvili (London) and the sophisticated video design by Ilya Delyatitsky (Israel) transform the stage into a hypnotic visual system. Light, screens, and the actors’ movements merge into a single score in which documents, propaganda, and human memories intertwine, erasing the boundary between reality and hallucination.
