Leonid Kanevsky is a legendary theater and film actor whose name, voice, and unmistakable storytelling style have long been familiar to millions of viewers. A significant part of his artistic career is connected with Israel: in 1990, Kanevsky arrived in Israel and became one of the artists who stood at the origins of Gesher Theatre. On its stage, he played a whole gallery of roles in productions including The Idiot, Adam — Son of a Bitch, The Little Village, The City: Odessa Stories, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Slave, and others.

Basinia Shulman is a virtuoso pianist and laureate of international competitions who has performed at prestigious concert venues across Europe and around the world. Her creative partners have included Yuri Bashmet, Vadim Repin, Eduard Artemyev, Boris Berezovsky, and other outstanding musicians. She is the author and creator of musical-theatrical projects that combine music, literature, and dramatic art.

A musical historical multimedia production based on a mysterious episode from the life of Maria Yudina, the brilliant pianist of the 20th century. At the height of the war, a single record featuring Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 was recorded overnight—exclusively for Joseph Stalin. This recording set off a chain of events with truly mystical consequences…

Leonid Kanevsky and Basinia Shulman will reveal archival pages from the past, while the great music of Mozart, Bach, Shostakovich, and Prokofiev will help uncover the true causes of what happened and shed light on the facts.

Part Two: The Mystery of Laughing Words

This time, the case materials include human weaknesses and oddities, curious circumstances, serious feelings, and unexpected actions that are not subject to a statute of limitations.
