Leizer and Bati love each other. They have three children and live in a strictly regulated ultra-Orthodox Jewish community. The happy family life changes when Leizer becomes the victim of blackmail. Photographs cause Bati to question how well she knows her partner. The discovery plunges everyone into a whirlwind of emotions as they struggle to preserve their love, relationship, and family.
Bergman presents a comedy-drama steeped in humor, pain, and love. Screenwriter Mindi Ehrlich, who grew up in Jerusalem’s ultra-Orthodox community, gives the story its authentic female perspective.
