To mark Shalom Hanoch’s 80th birthday, we will hold an event dedicated to him, his songs, and his immense contribution to Israeli rock. A wonderful singer-songwriter and composer who has greatly influenced our music scene. A superstar.
We will stop at the various milestones of his life, from his childhood at Mishmarot Kibbutz, through the Nahal Troupe, his close collaboration with Arik Einstein, his membership in the “Shlosharim” group (with Hanan Yovel and Benny Amdursky), the “Lool” group, the ill-fated attempt to conquer London in the early seventies, the “Tammuz” band, and, of course, his illustrious solo career—as much of it as time allows...
