Southern Arava: 3 Days of Hiking on the Israel National Trail — Vardit, Timna Cliffs, Mount Amir

Ariel Group on the Israel National Trail – Southern Negev – Elifaz

On December 15–16–17, 2026, we will set out on a southern “foray”—three days on the Israel National Trail.

Tuesday, December 15, 2026
Wered Canyon to Tzihor Junction – 12 kilometers – Paran Stream, Wered Stream, Wered Canyon.

Wednesday, December 16, 2026
Shahoret Canyon to Be’er Ora – From Shahoret Canyon we will climb Mount Amir. We will descend to Raham Palms and continue along Raham Stream to Be’er Ora. Walking distance: 18 kilometers.

Thursday, December 17, 2026
From Be’er Milhan to Timna. A vehicle shuttle will take us to Be’er Milhan, from where we will walk to Timna. 12 kilometers.

Subject to a minimum of 15 participants!

Price per person:

• In a double or triple room: ₪2,100
• Single room: ₪2,500

Payment may be made in four credit-card installments.

The price includes:

• Accommodation—two nights at Kibbutz Elifaz
• Double rooms with twin or double beds
• Meals: two dinners—Tuesday and Wednesday
• Two breakfasts—Wednesday and Thursday
• Two packed meals for the trail—Wednesday and Thursday
• Kosher food under the supervision of the Eilat Rabbinate
• Two off-road vehicle shuttles to Wered Canyon and Be’er Milhan

Registration and payment for the trip must be completed by November 27, 2026.

In the event of cancellation for any reason up to seven days before the trip, the payment will be refunded in full. After that, there will be no refund.
