Descriptiontranslated from Hebrew (original)

Come experience Daliyat al-Karmel as you’ve never known it before—a fascinating journey through flavors, traditions, and stories that connect the past with the present. We will stroll through the heart of the old village and hear about the unique history of the Druze, with an emphasis on the surprising connections between Druze and Jews—then and now. We will meet local residents, delve into Druze culture through personal stories, and discover a world of flavors found nowhere else.

During the tour, we will learn the secrets of authentic Druze cuisine, snack on falafel made according to a 55-year-old tradition, discover what Druze sushi is, and taste special cookies from Grandma’s pantry, knafeh in surprising flavors, and more. We will visit the “Queen of Grandma’s Remedies,” who prepares natural medicines, and learn about the secrets of traditional medicine.

All this will be accompanied by a Jewish tour guide, a resident of the village, who knows the hidden corners, people, and stories that make Daliyat al-Karmel a unique culinary and cultural gem.
