The play tells the story of Dorothy, a sweet and innocent girl, and Toto, her beloved dog, who are swept away by a cyclone to the distant and magical Land of Oz.

Dorothy, whose only wish is to return home, meets a Good Witch who advises her to go to the Great Wizard of the Emerald City, hoping he can grant her wish to return to her family.

The journey to the Wizard becomes an adventure through a fantasy land.

Along the way, Dorothy meets funny and moving characters who wish to enlist the Wizard’s abilities to fulfill their heartfelt wishes:

Kashi – the kind and brainless Scarecrow, whose only wish is to gain wisdom.

Pachi – the Tin Man, who dreams of gaining a heart so he can feel and love.

The Lion – the cowardly lion searching for courage.

The friends’ journey is filled with obstacles, and along the way they learn about friendship, helping others, kindness, and love of home and family.

What awaits them in the Emerald City? What will they discover about the Wizard of Oz? Will they succeed in fulfilling their wishes?
