Tanya Vinokur — Anniversary Tour Celebrating 20 Years of Creative Work

Virtuoso violinist, singer, dancer, and composer Tanya Vinokur is embarking on a celebratory tour of Israel. This unique concert transcends the boundaries between musical genres, offering a live musical journey through the most important stages of her artistic career. It combines her finest works from past years with new compositions in contemporary arrangements and the powerful stage energy that has long been the artist’s trademark.

Tanya Vinokur is rightly considered one of the brightest and most distinctive artists on Israel’s contemporary music scene. At the heart of her work is the violin—one of the principal symbols of Jewish musical culture—which, in her hands, takes on a completely new sound. Jewish, Romani, Balkan, Spanish, and Mediterranean music converge in a single performance. Tanya masterfully combines violin playing, vocals in different languages, and dance, creating an emotional and captivating stage experience that is difficult to compare with anything else.

On November 25 at the Krieger Hall in Haifa, the concert’s special guest will be the outstanding pianist and composer Leonid Ptashka, Tanya’s longtime friend and collaborator on numerous creative projects over the years.

On November 26 at Zucker Hall, Heichal HaTarbut in Tel Aviv, Tanya will welcome the legendary group Mayumana to the stage—a symbolic return to her roots, as this was the ensemble in which she performed before beginning her solo career.

All concerts on the tour will be accompanied by a full live band.

Over the course of her career, Tanya has performed in Israel and around the world with leading artists, including David Broza, Gipsy Kings, Glikeriya, and many others. She has collaborated with international musicians, toured worldwide with her band, recorded eight albums, and created seven original concert programs. From the very first notes, Tanya fills the hall with incredible energy and invites the audience on an unforgettable musical journey.
