The Calling Behind the Camera
With Noam Kedar, filmmaker and producer
How do you combine the world of cinema with a life of faith, even when everyone around you is convinced that you are wrong? A story about each of our journeys to discover our calling in the world and find the courage to remain true to it, even when those around us do not understand.
More than 20 years ago, in the midst of a process of becoming religious, he embarked on a two-decade journey filled with divine providence, crises, and successes:
Behind the scenes of the industry: Production management for Srugim (Season 2), working with leading comedians, creating content for the Meir Channel, and studying at Ma'aleh Film School.
Journeys around the world: From documentary filming in India (where I met my wife) to the Bnei Menashe community.
Jewish creativity: Producing films for the Religious Education Administration, Yad Ben-Zvi, Mishkan HaTechelet, Tefillin Beit El, and more.
The lecture includes screenings of special film clips.
