The Show "The Gospel According to Monty Python"

Iconic sketches, brilliant animation segments, and zany songs are the raw material and foundation for creating original works and arrangements for orchestra, choir, and actor. The Python-esque DNA of associative and crazed comedic thinking, bizarre connections between distant worlds of content, and witty sketches without a clear punchline is reflected in our choice to create something completely different.

A Musical Circus for Orchestra, Choir, and a Dead Parrot

Ben Perry, the Moran Choir, the abundant archive of Monty Python, and a dead parrot join forces for an evening of fine British nonsense, created in the unique style of the Revolution Orchestra. An international Re:Play performance by the Revolution Orchestra, returning to the stage due to popular demand.

Re:Play Nonsense, starring actor Ben Perry

The abundant archive of the legendary British comedy troupe Monty Python: iconic sketches, brilliant animation segments, and zany songs from Monty Python’s Flying Circus, And Now for Something Completely Different, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Monty Python’s Life of Brian serve as the raw material and foundation for original works and arrangements for orchestra, choir, and actor (as well as a dead parrot. And an albatross.). The Python-esque DNA is reflected in the choice to create “something completely different,” entirely British and entirely created here in Israel. And the result? “A winning classic” (Walla Culture).
