Welcome to “The Complex” – an original Israeli musical about coming of age, dreams, and the search for meaning in the age of AI. Following a crowdfunding campaign and a successful launch at Habima Theatre, “Laan” brings the musical to the stage of Expo Tel Aviv Theatre. An innovative artificial-intelligence treatment promises its subjects that they will discover their purpose in life in just one week. Alice, Tom, Bar, and Gabriel volunteer to participate in an innovative experiment in which they live for a week in “The Complex,” under the control of Hadva, an AI system. At the end of the experiment, they are promised answers to all the questions that have been accompanying them.
