Bini waited fifty years to reunite with Ruta—the love of his youth—and return with her to their native street in Dubrovnik. When Ruta was widowed, he realized: the time had come. A one-way ticket, saying goodbye to his wife—and a new life. But instead of a farewell conversation, he finds himself at a secretly arranged celebration in honor of their Golden Wedding Anniversary.
He smiles and accepts the congratulations… but he knows that if he leaves, he will break the hearts of those who love him.
