The Strategic Power of Graphic Design
A talk on graphic design and visual psychology takes place on 3 November 2026 at Tsivoni Community Centre in Modiin. Led by Assaf Be’eri.
Every day, thousands of images compete for our attention, often shaping our opinions before we’ve even had time to think. But what makes one visual memorable, persuasive, or trustworthy while another is overlooked?
In this fascinating talk, discover how graphic design influences the way we interpret information, make decisions, and form instant impressions. Through real-world examples, you’ll explore the psychology behind colour, composition, and visual communication, and gain a new appreciation for the designer’s role in navigating today’s information-saturated world.
The evening will be led by Assaf Be’eri, a graphic designer with over 15 years of experience and a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. His portfolio includes work for the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Hebrew University, Fox Fashion, and Bank Hapoalim. More recently, Assaf has served as a visual consultant for the IDF History Department, transforming documentation from the events of October 7 and the subsequent conflict into meaningful visual narratives.
