Dramatization and direction: Ronen (Goldfarb) Peled
Author: Leah Goldberg

An enchanting theatrical adaptation of Leah Goldberg’s popular book. The performance touches on important values such as good neighborly relations, mutual assistance, and true friendship.

The story follows the residents of a five-story building (“in a beautiful valley among vineyards and fields…”) who are looking for a new neighbor to replace Mr. Mouse, who has decided to move away. Various candidates come to the building: an ant, a female hare, a wild boar, a nightingale, and a dove. Who will become the new resident?

The production captivates audiences with colorful sets, vibrant costumes, and musical numbers. This is a new musical version of Leah Goldberg’s famous story, performed by five actors.

The performance is recommended by Israel’s Ministry of Culture and is included in the National Culture Subscription program.
