For the first time in ten years, they are together again, trying to cling to the fragile illusion of normality and celebrate the younger daughter’s engagement.
But behind the polite smiles, a cauldron of secrets, cold interests, and destructive lies is already boiling. When a forbidden romance from the past threatens to come to light and a bribe is offered, each person must make a choice on which everything depends: remain loyal to the family? To the state? To a loved one? To oneself? Or—to one’s own conscience? And what price will have to be paid for the decision?
