Mayor Moshe Schwartzman is concerned about the lack of opponents in the upcoming elections. To create an illusion of a fair race, he decides to put forward a fake candidate. The ideal candidate turns out to be a cleaner named Ilana, who unexpectedly remains in politics.
Latecomers will not be admitted.
Local elections are on the horizon, and the city's mayor — the influential and battle-hardened Moshe Schwartzman — is quite concerned: no one dares to run against him.
Yet without a rival, there is no campaign; and without a campaign, sponsors' pockets remain closed.
Moreover, what if someone else decides he’s a dictator… After all, democracy is his guiding star!
So what should he do?
To create the illusion of a fair electoral race, he must find a fake candidate.
Someone who, at best, would receive votes only from their own family — and even then, only after long hesitation.
When the cleaner enters the office and begins sweeping, it becomes immediately clear: the ideal candidate has been found.
Her name is Ilana.
And she has arrived — to stay!
