West Side Story — Musical — Only 50 Performances — Beit Lessin Theater

Suburban Story — West Side Story as you’ve never seen it before! The greatest musical of all time—in a new, dazzling production. Mesmerizing, dynamic, and more dazzling than ever.

Dozens of actors, singers, and dancers, accompanied by live orchestral music, in a brilliant interpretation of the modern Romeo and Juliet. This is the story of forbidden love between Tony, a young American and member of a street gang, and Maria, the sister of the leader of a hostile Puerto Rican gang. Love that flares against a backdrop of bitter hatred becomes a dramatic confrontation between two worlds on the streets of New York—and leads to a tragic finale.

The musical’s songs became a milestone in the history of musical theater, have inspired countless interpretations, and are familiar to every true theatergoer. The work of Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein conquered the world, including through two iconic film adaptations honored with Academy Awards.

The production is presented in collaboration with Music Theatre International.
