Theatrical Tour at Jaffa Port, for ages 5–10 and the whole family

The tale of The Fisherman and the Goldfish comes to life in a unique, experiential, and interactive theatrical tour for the whole family. The fisherman’s three wishes open a gateway through time, inviting the audience to meet fascinating figures from Jaffa’s past—such as Jonah the Prophet, Napoleon, and Andromeda—and dive into history and culture through acting, humor, and surprises. A performance that is also a story, a tour, and a one-of-a-kind experience in the enchanting corners of Jaffa Port. Join a unique adventure led by Sammy the Fisherman to discover the golden wishes, and along the way meet fascinating characters concealing clues and surprises. Good News | A Sensitive Performance for Children

A funny and touching performance set in an old-fashioned newspaper office. Just before everything becomes digital, the dedicated newspaper editor decides that the last printed issue will contain only good news. Amid the noise of the photocopier and the world of flashing screens, she sets out on a small but determined journey with the help of her reporters: Ami, the sports reporter; Mili, the culture reporter; and Nehorai the First, the nature reporter. A quest for good news through object theater, silhouettes, words, paper, and imagination.

Juices for the Brave — Performance + Workshop for Halloween, in collaboration with Jaffa Port

In the garden of Azderet the witch, enchanted plants with special powers grow. She is the 346th generation of certified witches and brews potions from them for every fear and worry. The performance brings to the surface the real fears children experience. Azderet listens, reflects, and invents magical solutions—and sometimes, when there is no choice, also gathers the courage to face her own fears. Performance + workshop for making a special anti-fear potion for every child.

Story and Craft Hour — Penina’s Home

Penina, a mischievous stray cat, loves her neighborhood. She has everything: a warm bed, a playground, and rooftops to climb and jump across. But when her home is destroyed, she sets out on a journey to find a new place that feels like home. A moving and gentle story theater and puppet show about belonging, friendship, and hope, seen through the eyes of one brave cat. The performance is made entirely from recycled materials: cardboard, bags, and simple objects that spark the imagination and create beauty from what already exists.

And what awaits after the performance? After the story hour, every child will make a personal shadow puppet, learn about the world of shadow theater, go onstage, and try operating their puppets in a play of light, shadow, and imagination.

Throughout the activities, children will also enjoy a wooden play area, drawing stations, and games—all free of charge.

All activities take place in the pleasant, air-conditioned warehouses of Jaffa Port, facing the sea, the breeze, and the port’s unique atmosphere. Come spend time, create, laugh, and enjoy a summer of experiences, color, and imagination at the Container House and the Warehouse.
