Pinocchio
An original adaptation of the renowned classic story by Italian author Carlo Collodi (1883).
Geppetto is a kind-hearted carpenter who makes special toys for children. One day, he finds a log whose shape resembles a small child. He carves the wood, makes a puppet and names it “Pinocchio.”
Geppetto, who longs to be a father, expresses a wish and hopes that Pinocchio will become a real boy. At night, while everyone is asleep, the Blue Fairy decides to grant Geppetto’s wish and gives Pinocchio life—provided he chooses to follow the straight and narrow path.
Thus begins Pinocchio’s journey, accompanied by the young audience members, who help Pinocchio distinguish between good and evil.
This is a moving, funny and fantasy-filled story that teaches us all that the truth will always prevail. The performance features special effects, animation, songs and an important message for us all!
