Akot’s performance on 29/09 at Tavar, Tel Aviv. Original classical Mizrahi music with songs by Israeli poets. Admission is free.
Akot Return to TARB!
For more than a decade, Akot (“Listen!” in French) have been creating, performing, and exploring what contemporary Israeli culture sounds like.
Akot is an ensemble that combines original classical Middle Eastern music with songs by Israeli poets. Their compositions draw inspiration from classical Eastern musical traditions, particularly Arab and North African music. Carefully selected texts, combined with the music, offer an in-depth portrait of contemporary Israeli identity—blending East and West, sacred and secular, vibrant rhythms with gentleness and attentiveness, and a great deal of artistic curiosity.
Free admission!
Doors: 20:00
The performance will begin up to an hour and a half after doors open.
