Dr. Alex Gold, a resident at Ashikama Hospital, struggles to comprehend the suicide of her husband, Dr. Yonatan Gold — the head of the IVF department, who took his own life within the hospital walls.
Overwhelmed by the tragedy but resolute, pregnant yet determined, Alex embarks on a personal, uncompromising investigation. The deeper she delves into the truth, the more cases of cover-ups, medical corruption, and dark secrets emerge — threats capable of shaking the entire hospital.
Angels in White is a play about a crumbling healthcare system (not ours), about corruption eating away even at the physician’s oath (again, not here), and about “little people” who refuse to stay silent — and have the power to change much.
This debut work is by investigative journalist Gilit Kozeva, formerly a staff member of the Uvda (“Fact”) program.
