Igor Sandrov is an alto saxophonist, composer, and jazz musician, born in Irkutsk, Russia, and currently living in Israel. He completed his musical studies in Rome at the Saint Louis College of Music, where he studied with the acclaimed Italian jazz saxophonist Rosario Giuliani. Sandrov is the winner of the B-Jazz International Competition in Belgium and has performed over the years at jazz festivals and international venues throughout Europe. In 2026, his debut album, Verso la luce, was released on the Italian label AlfaMusic, featuring original compositions written by him.
In the performance on the museum rooftop, Sandrov will perform original music from the album, combining composition and improvisation in the language of contemporary jazz.
