An innocent love story between a Jewish student of German descent and a beautiful student of Arab descent becomes a larger-than-life drama when the couple is caught in a terrorist attack in Israel.
The young man’s serious injury brings him together with his father, a former Israeli who lives in Germany and vehemently opposes his son’s relationship.
While waiting for his son to recover, the father also confronts the troubled relationship between his mother and his own father—a relationship containing a terrible secret that caused him to leave the country and will change the fate of this entire troubled family.
A larger-than-life drama that is also a journey in search of the protagonists’ true identities, in a world where identity determines destiny. All the way to the surprising ending, which inspires renewed faith in human solidarity.
The play premiered in France, featuring Israeli and French actors. It subsequently toured worldwide and received extensive media attention.
