GAVIN KING, known as DJ APHRODITE, is no ordinary DJ—he is an icon. In the global scene, he is rightfully considered one of the pioneers of Drum & Bass and the undisputed "Godfather" of the Jump Up style. He began his journey in the early 1990s, during the golden age of Acid House, and has since become a true icon of the genre.
He is one of the most sought-after DNsB headliners worldwide and regularly performs at festivals such as Glastonbury, DnB Allstars Festival, Boomtown, Burning Man, World of Drum and Bass, Let it Roll, Pirate Station, Love Parade, and many others.
He is one of the most successful producers in the history of the genre, having sold over half a million records worldwide. Anyone who grew up watching the cult film Human Traffic will recognize this sound from the very first second. His legendary track "Stalker" entered the annals of rave culture forever, becoming an anthem for an entire generation.
