A Jesus-like young man is guided by a strange alchemist and his assistants through a psychedelic tangle of religious and secular rituals. He encounters seven people with mystical powers who represent the planets of the solar system, and together they learn to rid themselves of their possessions and earthly desires in order to form the cohesive group that will find the truth. It lies on “The Holy Mountain,” which they climb, replacing the gods seated there and becoming immortal.
