Guided tour in English of the Tom Wesselmann exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The ticket includes museum admission, and the number of places is limited.
Tom Wesselmann (1931–2004), one of the key figures of American Pop Art in the 1960s, created bold and direct images as vivid as the culture they reflected. Through depictions of still lifes and nudes—fragmented, flat, and monumental—he reimagined the tradition of painting in an era saturated with advertising, consumerism, and media spectacles. His work moves along the boundary between intimacy and exposure, between attraction and discomfort.
