“Hear My Voice” – An Inspiring Gathering Between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur
The A’aleh BeTamar Association – preserving the heritage of Yemenite Jewry and the communities of Israel – invites the public to a special evening of prayer, piyut, music, and spiritual elevation, taking place during the Ten Days of Repentance, between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
At the center of the evening will be the beloved singer and songwriter Sagiv Cohen, who will host the paytanim Yitzhak Meir and Michael Peretz, with the participation of the children of the Mari School in Pardes Hanna. Together, they will offer the audience a powerful musical and spiritual experience combining ancient piyutim, melodies of Selichot, Israeli songs, and a living, moving Jewish tradition.
The gathering, titled “Hear My Voice,” seeks to open the heart during the special period of the Ten Days of Repentance—days of introspection, seeking forgiveness, hope, and renewal. The voices of the singers and paytanim will connect generations, the traditions of Israel, and the individual with the community, creating an evening of unity, faith, and spiritual elevation.
The event will take place in the presence of Mr. Gal Sharabi-Damayo, Deputy Mayor of Tel Aviv–Yafo. It is produced by the A’aleh BeTamar Association, in cooperation with the Tel Aviv Municipality, the Ministry of Culture and Sports, and the Zalman Shazar Center.
This is an evening for anyone seeking to pause the race of life, open their heart, and enter the atmosphere of the Days of Awe through song, prayer, and hope.
Come listen, sing, be moved, and open the gates of heaven together—“Hear My Voice.”
