Together with our guide, Gali Benin, we will visit the first synagogue in Tel Aviv and talk about who prays there today.
We will learn about Rabbi Kook’s reform and visit his favorite synagogue. We will also visit a Sephardic synagogue founded by Rabbi Uziel.
We will discuss how secular life and religion coexisted in the city more than a century ago, and what the balance is today.
