A comedy by Anat Gov at Habima Theatre, Tel Aviv. A psychologist receives a surprising patient—God Himself, who is suffering from depression and plans to put an end to humanity.
Ella, a 42-year-old psychologist and single mother of a child on the autism spectrum, receives an urgent phone call from A., a mysterious patient desperate for an immediate appointment. When he arrives, it turns out that the patient is none other than God—the Creator of the Universe himself—suffering from deep depression.
Desperate over his complicated relationship with humanity, he wants to put an end to humankind, leaving Ella only one hour to change his mind and save the world.
The intelligent and moving comedy by Anat Gov, one of Israel’s greatest playwrights, offers a humane and compassionate look at the challenging reality life presents, and at the blows of fate that God—oh, God—rains down upon us.
