Goodbye and thank you for the mille-feuille
Play: “Goodbye, and Thanks for the Cream Pastry” takes place at Habima Theatre, Habima Square, Tel Aviv. A couple decides to end their lives together, but their plans go awry.
After fifty years of a happy relationship and three children, Izzy and Tiki decide to end their lives together peacefully and comfortably, on a date and at a time set in advance, using a “Clean Exit” kit.
The entire house is prepared for the shiva, the refreshments are ready, and the farewell letters are arranged on the table.
But just before the fateful act, the couple’s eldest daughter knocks on the door.
Thus begins a series of disruptions to the plan, culminating in all the siblings arriving home to try to understand what has gotten into their father and mother.
