Avner Kenner & Pure Intensions is a unique vocal ensemble of 14–15 singers, under the musical direction of Avner Kenner, one of Israel’s leading composers and arrangers.
The ensemble performs beautiful Israeli classics in rich harmonies, including Kenner’s well-known hits, as well as jazz and gospel standards in a variety of styles.
Avner Kenner—composer, arranger, and pianist—is one of the pioneers of progressive rock in Israel. With Yoni Rechter, he created Fourteen Octaves; with Yoel Lerner and Mazi Cohen, Premiere; and he wrote and arranged for Arik Einstein and many other artists.
