Nonfinito 2026 exhibition at Artport Tel Aviv. Details about the exhibition dates have not been provided.
Artport’s annual residency graduation exhibition, “Non Finito,” carries from its inception the understanding that the act of art does not end with the final object displayed in the gallery. The unfinished is the process, the search, and the constant movement taking place between the studio walls, on the two upper floors of the Artport building, as well as on the balcony, in the living room, and during the group’s weekly meetings.
Roi Menachem Markovich builds a studio within a studio and opens a window onto the behind-the-scenes of the creative process; Ori Holbein uses soft, flexible plasticine to speak about romantic scars and an elastic identity; Naama Roth reveals the reflection of the image and its shattering through work with television screens; Yasmin Davis observes the moment of release in artistic creation, which contains both joy and the danger of annihilation; Yonatan Omer Mizrahi removes an advertising sign from the neighboring building and uncovers alternative histories and narratives; Noa Yafe draws aside the curtain, allows the eye to adjust to the darkness, and invites us to observe what has been there all along, though we do not always know how to see it.
Instead of a finished product or a sealed narrative, the exhibition presents the act of art as an ongoing action that exposes and unravels the seams of reality, paving the way for the creation of a new reality.
