A lecture based on research by two renowned sexologists, conducted after interviews with people who described their sexual lives as amazing. The lecture reveals eight common characteristics among these couples, related to long-term passion and bridging sexual gaps. The speaker will examine these characteristics in depth, explain how to overcome obstacles, and provide tools for developing a healthy and renewed sexuality.
In 2021, two renowned sexologists published a book based on interviews with people who claimed to have the best sex in the world (by their own definition), attempting to understand what they were doing differently. How is it possible that they maintain passion after many years together, without the sexual gaps that seem typical for long-term couples? The answers were surprising and not at all what they had expected. The research revealed eight characteristics shared by all these couples, regardless of age, preferred sexual orientation (kink or non-kink), relationship structure (monogamous or non-monogamous), and even health quality. This lecture examines these characteristics in depth, explores the different sexual archetypes and how to bridge differences between them, identifies obstacles to developing a fulfilling and passionate sexuality over time, and discusses how to reconcile sexual incompatibilities. We will discuss topics everyone needs to know about sexuality but few are aware of—and which no one ever taught us.
