"Singing and Storytelling" Evening Honoring Cyprus Aliyah Bet Immigrants (as part of the 80th anniversary events of the opening of the detention camps on the island)
We will recount the vibrant life and creative output of the immigrants, specifically behind barbed wire fences, and their "choice for life" at their final stop before Eretz Yisrael.
Featuring Mica Einav, Noam Gilaoor, as well as stories told by the children of prominent figures among the immigrants and emissaries from the country.
