A documentary play, based on real events, was written as a result of service in the reserves at the "Shura" base during the mission to identify the deceased after the massacre on October 7th.
Reservist and playwright Roi Yosef spent sixty days at the "Shura" base somewhere in the central part of the country. Sixty days dedicated to one of the most challenging tasks that the human soul can face – identifying the victims of the tragedy. During infinitely long hours, Roi and the soldiers called upon for this mission searched for any identifying signs to facilitate the identification process and ensure a dignified burial. At the same time, he would turn on his computer and write. He wrote about what he saw, heard, and experienced: reflections, moments that unfolded before his eyes, precise transcriptions of what resonated around him, and interviews that he conducted with people present there.
