About the film:
"Yojimbo" (1961) tells the story of a wandering ronin (masterless samurai), played by Toshiro Mifune, who arrives in a town torn apart by two rival gangs. With his sharp mind and unrivaled swordsmanship, he skillfully plays both sides to restore order. This is a powerful, action-packed film full of dark humor, brilliant cinematography and classic samurai philosophy. (In Japanese with English subtitles.)
