Daniel Litman is an Israeli actor and star of the series Taagad, The Greenhouse, The Seminary, Shadow Government, the charming series Densely Packed, and more.
He won the Children’s Choice Awards’ Actor of the Year category and the Frogi Award in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
An emotional talk about perseverance and self-fulfillment.
At the height of his young career, with auditions and roles on every channel and in children’s productions, Daniel was struck by Guillain–Barré syndrome.
Daniel arrived at the hospital barely able to move. There, he was diagnosed with the syndrome, in which the immune system attacks the nervous system. Daniel gradually became paralyzed.
Daniel shares with the audience how he learned to do everything again—to eat, walk, and speak—and how he discovered his inner resilience along the way;
how he learned to seek help from others, trust others, and discover the strengths hidden within him.
Difficulties accompany us throughout our lives, not only during moments of severe hardship. Daniel faced difficulties as a shy, short child who experienced daily teasing and even ostracism.
Daniel tells how he experienced that period and how, against all odds, he went from being a shy and rejected child to becoming the actor you know today.
What did Daniel take from that period, and how did he move forward? All this will be covered in an inspiring and unforgettable talk.
In short, it’s going to be an amazing talk—so don’t miss it!!!
