The international pianist and composer Guy Mintus in an exhilarating encounter with the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, conducted by Ido Shpitalnik, in a special program that crosses stylistic and historical boundaries.
Guy Mintus will open with Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20, adding surprising original cadenzas that combine improvisation with influences from jazz and traditional music from around the world.
Later in the evening, Guy Mintus’s regular trio will join the celebration for moving performances of original works and new arrangements of themes by Beethoven, Gershwin, and Naomi Shemer.
